Sandals Royal Bahamian Part 2 Update

Posted by Cindy Morley on October 3, 2012 at 6:10 PM

It is with great pleasure to share with you all that I experienced up close and personal this past weekend.on the property of SANDALS ROYAL BAHAMIAN in Nassau....

We arrived via Ft.Lauderdale on JetBlue direct to Nassau....the 35 minute flight was smooth and we were up and leveled as we started to descend...just that fast...

We landed to be greeted by SANDALS representative who directed us to our shuttle to take us to the resort which was only a 15 minute brief air conditioned van ride ..

Once we arrived at the resort we were greeted by staff members who took our luggage tagged them and gave us aromatherapy cool washcloths along with a stem glass of we waited in the check in area we were asked names and given our room assignment by an escort who took us right up to our room on the fourth floor which was in the newly renovated BALMORAL TOWER with Ocean/Beach/Resort View as shown above

We unpacked and headed to the resturant for lunch and a drink before we were to start looking around which we were provided with a map of the resort....that we reviewed while we ate lunch...the buffet was open at the time so we dined on fried chicken rice and salad..pina coladas to toast that our vacation has offically begun

We then decided to take a brief tour of the resort to see where everything was so that we knew where the points of interest to us would be for the long the bars-other food options-pool options one that was the party pool where a DJ was playing the hits-volleyball game taking place and drinking games and the other more relaxed and quiet giving you 2 options to splash around. as shown above

There are a variety of options for dinner as well from buffet themed menus to ala carte selections, we did them all....we choose to eat one evening at the Kimono's hibachi where you got a sample of everything on the menu and I mean everything from the appetizer the fried rice-chicken-beef-shrimp and mahi a sampler dessert of cake n mousse....YUMMY...we also had the unexpected pleasure of being able to dine at the exclusive fine dining restaurant of GORDONS on the PIER literally in the ocean...with filet mignon-lobster tail entree that was delectable....this fine dining is exclusive to those that have butler service or pay an additional fee of $140 per couple...

We spent our 2nd full day at the offshore private island where we enjoyed strolls on the beach-swim up pool bar cocktails-lunch and plenty of was like being on another vacation just a short boat ride away literally 1/2 mile from the dock to dock....they offer spa services such as massages only under tiki huts overlooking the crystal blue waters....zen gardens and pathways lined the surrounding areas fro you to explore

Our time at the resort 4days/3nights was just enough and one that we will remember as we had the chance to take some well deserved alone couple time to celebrate my husbands birthday of curse while I had a little work to do while I was there meeting with the Wedding Planner Manager Carla who gave me the tour of the venuesthey use for wedding ceremonies/receptions as you see the wedding gazebo above...We look forward to going back again real soon and will be taking our daughters over to BEACHES TURKS & CAICOS in 2013...

If you should wish to create your next adventure to anyone of the caribbean resorts they have to offer in the Bahamas-Exumas-Jamaica-St. Lucia & Antiqua....Give me a call and I'll be sure to make sure your next adventure will be one you will remember as well....and want to go back time and time again....maybe giving each and everyone of the properties a try....
